March Madness

It's MARCH!! My favorite month of the year. ;) My younger brother, who's off at college in Wisconsin, is coming home for his spring break! I'm really excited; him, his twin bro, and me get to celebrate our birthdays together. I really miss him a lot, it will be a blast!

The digital pictures were done when my sister's boyfriend came to visit. :P One night while everyone was playing video games, he and I doodled on Photoshop with my tablet, it was really fun! He's pretty good at drawing.
I have a job! So, it has taken up a lot of my time. I am determined to at least draw once a day if at all. There are at least 2 hours of break when I'm at work (I'm a babysitter/nanny and work 10 hrs a day) so I've been bringing all my pencils and color pencils along. :D It's perfect for when the kids want to color.

Saturday! This week has been strange and rather long. Glad it's here, and about to be gone, haha. Got to catch up on some of my favorite shows: Psych, The Office, and NCIS (OMG A MUST SEE).

This month has been weird and good. I got a job interview, which was really good. My teacher had recommended me to one of her former students who owns a business so he gave her his information for me. So, I called him today and he asked me to send in some examples of my work. I did and he promptly called me back. I was really excited and went to the interview the next day. The guy said since I was inexperienced (true seeing as I never had an official "real" job) he would give me one job to do. If I did it in a short amount of time and a good job on it and he liked it he would hire me as a part-timer. He was supposed to have given it to me a week or so ago but something came up. Oh well, we'll see. I'm going to keep my eyes out for other work. (:

I'm on my last class for my Associates!! I'm really excited about it! XD It's Life Drawing, which meant it's supposed to be drawing nudes and whatnot. Thankfully I talked to my teacher and he gave me a different schedule so I will come in once a week and show him my work. I've got 50 pages of artwork to do. I'm looking forward to getting that much and some more. ;P

Well, going to my friend's house in the boonies this weekend, can't wait! I miss her. :P She's moving about 20 min away from my home around in January, I'm so excited for her! XD

My sister’s bday was today! She’s 23, getting up there! Haha. Almost all of us kids (see, can’t even stop from saying that cause I’m so used to it) are out of our teens, just three left to go! Two will turn 20 next year. :P Scary! I made her a bday card and we baked her her favorite cake, German Chocolate. XD

This weekend was pretty awesome cause I didn’t have to go to school on Monday. Went back to school today, though, and was completely ADD (I’m not really, but I like to think so)! I have a storyboard due tomorrow, about 5 of them. Also! I’ll be doing presentations on the 15th, to the whole school because I’m moving on from this class. I will survive, it’s just that I have to explain to each person what each of my pics mean, why I did it the way I did, what tools I used, etc.

It’s going to be an interesting next two months. :D
